My name is Heather Hemsley, and I’m an animation screenwriter looking to inspire the next generation! I specialize in action, adventure, dramedy, and fantasy.

Ever since I learned to write, I’ve been passionate about giving hope to children and young adults through beautiful worlds, rib-tickling dialogue, and clutching messages.

My aim is to show that even in a scary world, there is always a reason to hope and to stand up for what’s right.

I have my B.A. in Writing for Film and Television from Biola University, and am currently working as a curriculum scriptwriter with Brainy Pixel. I am also serving as a writing intern on the show Gabriel and the Guardians (Angel Studios).

In-between working on independent films as a script supervisor, I am actively writing and directing my own projects. I would love to connect with you!
